About SGGI

Silly Golden Goose Investing (SGGI) is an independent research platform focused on the structural forces shaping the next phase of the AI economy — including defense autonomy, energy constraints, compute infrastructure, and macro-financial cycles.

While much of the market debates whether AI is unstoppable or a bubble waiting to burst, SGGI focuses on something more fundamental:

How technological revolutions actually move through cycles.

The AI boom is real. Like every major technological expansion, it will move through corrections, resets, and structural turning points. Those turning points create the most important investment opportunities.

SGGI exists to help investors understand where those inflection points are forming — and what comes next.

Why SGGI was Started

SGGI was built because I kept seeing the same pattern: the world was changing faster than investors realized, and the analysis available to everyday people wasn’t keeping up. AI, autonomy, and market structure weren’t evolving in isolation — they were colliding. Almost nobody was mapping the actual constraints determining how the next decade would unfold: energy, compute, defense adoption cycles, liquidity, and capex saturation.

SGGI began as a personal research project — a way to understand the AI boom, the coming correction, and the structural pressures shaping global markets. But as the signal got clearer, it became something worth sharing.

Approach

SGGI focuses on structural forces that shape markets over time, not short-term headlines.

These forces include: compute and semiconductor constraints, energy and grid capacity limits, defense autonomy adoption cycles, capital-expenditure saturation, and liquidity and macro-financial turning points.

These dynamics determine where the next decade of investment returns will emerge. Not narratives.

The SGGI Thesis

SGGI’s core thesis is that the AI economy is approaching its first structural correction — not the end of the cycle.

Several forces are converging: compute scaling meeting physical infrastructure limits, AI capital spending outpacing monetization, defense autonomy adoption accelerating on a lag, energy and grid capacity becoming real constraints, and megacap technology growth beginning to normalize.

Taken together, these pressures suggest a reset in expectations. Resets create opportunity.

The next phase of the AI economy will likely be broader, more capital-intensive, and more connected to real-world infrastructure than the early software-driven boom. Understanding that transition early is where SGGI focuses its research.

What We Research

AI Infrastructure Limits — Compute capacity, data centers, power constraints, and semiconductor cost curves.

Defense Autonomy — Unmanned systems, maritime autonomy, ISR networks, and dual-use defense technologies.

Market Structure & Liquidity — Interest-rate cycles, capital flows, prediction markets, and institutional positioning.

Energy & Infrastructure — Grid load, storage systems, transmission constraints, and emerging energy nodes.

Mispriced Assets — Companies and sectors trading far from their structural reality due to narrative lag.

Who SGGI Is For

SGGI is designed for investors who want structural insight rather than daily market commentary, are skeptical of hype but optimistic about technological progress, prefer quiet accuracy over loud predictions, understand that cycles create opportunity, and value independent research grounded in fundamentals.

Follow the Work

The best way to follow SGGI is through the newsletter. Subscribers receive analysis of AI infrastructure and defense autonomy trends, early identification of structural shifts in the AI economy, research on emerging technologies shaping the next cycle, and frameworks for understanding macro-financial turning points.

SGGI’s goal is simple: help investors understand the cycle and even their odds.

SGGI provides independent research and commentary on markets and technology. All material is provided for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered investment advice.
